OG-Course Management System (OG-CMS) 1.0

The OG Course Management Systems (OG-CMS) is an educational software used for teaching and collaboration.
Implemented as a service-oriented application suite, OG-CMS is designed to be scalable, reliable, interoperable and extensible.

OG-CMS includes many of the features common to CMS, including document distribution, a grade book, assignment uploads and more.

OG-CMS provides the following features:

• Content Management
  Capability to publish and maintain the content (Access control, content markup, presentation, revisioning, and so on.)
• Messaging and Collaboration
  Mainly about developing communities of interest, whereby people can share common expertise and insight on a particular set of data
• Web Services Access
  Web Services provide a strong capability to both access partner systems (business to business) and be consumed by consumer applications. Our modules are able to both consume web services and provide them.
• Unified Security Model
  Ability to provide a single sign-on (SSO) and also an enterprise-wide security policy based on roles.
• Syndication Feeds
  Ability to produce and update list of news content
• Teaching Tools
  Assignments, Grade book, syllabus, section management.
• Portfolio Tools
  Layouts, search, evaluations and reports.
